The Children of Hope Academy is seeking volunteers tutors to work one-on-one with adult students with disabilities to guide them through their specifically designed program. The school year started August 18th so volunteers are needed immediately. All material is provided and no experience is necessary, just a willingness to help!

The purpose of the academy is to help students with disabilities achieve their full potential and to provide their families with programs and other resources to support continued learning and progress.
The Children of Hope Academy needs volunteer tutors to work one-on-one with our students with disabilities. All material are provided and no experience is necessary. Volunteers receive orientation and assistance is available at all times if questions arise. Volunteers are needed for the duration of the school year (begins Aug 18) with holidays and breaks in accordance with the Washington County School District Calendar. All materials are provided and no experience is necessary. Volunteer shifts are once a week from 9:30-11:30 am or 1:00-3:00 pm. (One hour shifts also could be accommodated.) There also are several volunteers needed from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.
The best part about this site was being able to create friendships with the students as well as watch their improvement. Each day I would work one-on-one with a special needs girl named Angie. We would work with language, math, physical activities, and science. - Brooke, St. George, UT
