Come volunteer with some of the cutest kids you'll ever meet in our Early Learning Program! Your main responsibilities will include supervising young children (age 1 to 5) while their parents participate in ESL (English Second Language) class, planning and implementing activities for the children, and coordinating with parents to meet children’s needs during class time. Parents will be expected to change diapers, feed children, and handle crying children. We ask for a minimum time commitment of one day per week for 3 months. The thing that I loved most was how involved all of the leaders were, they knew every child by name and made an effort to ask them how their day had been and compliment them on something. This helped to teach me how to give the children positive attention and make sure that they felt special. - Maia Sepulveda, Salt Lake City, Utah
