Volunteers of America is the charity that always steps forward to help the most vulnerable. We work to reach and uplift those in the greatest need, breaking down barriers and enabling clients to transform their lives.
Volunteer can work at the front desk, sort donations, or simply be a positive influence on the youth.
Due to the vulnerable populations we serve, we do not have any walk-in options available. Please refer to our volunteer tab on our website to view our volunteer process.
As our Salt Lake County programs serve people who are experiencing homelessness, struggling with substance abuse issues, and/or other mental health issues, they are considered a vulnerable population. We also feel it is critical that we select both staff and volunteers, whom we feel confident will be able to connect well with our clients, while also being sensitive to their needs.
