ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS IN OCTOBER (last updated 9/15/20). The Utah AIDS Foundation provides a variety of services to people living with HIV/AIDS including case management, nutrition services, and support groups. In addition the foundation educates the general public about HIV/AIDS and offers free HIV testing.
There are several opportunities for volunteers 18 and older depending upon your skill level. Volunteers can work in the foodbank, deliver meals, provide office support, work at special events, and more. It is best to visit the website to find the most up-to-date volunteer needs. Volunteers 16 and 17 years old may volunteer with parental consent.
This organization is very valuable to me because I know that I am helping the community by advocating and raising awareness about issues related to HIV and various STDs. To be able to empower a person to make better choices and lead a healthier life is very awarding for me. - Priscilla Auduong, West Valley, Utah
