Burrito Project is a group of friends that feeds the hungry and homeless in cities around the world, encouraging people “to get together with friends and build burritos to take to the streets”. No political, religious, or party views of sorts. All are welcome to contribute what they can… just people coming together to help other people. Anyone can start a Burrito Project and the organization encourages everyone to help feed the hungry in their local communities. We run March through Mid October 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. UPDATE: 8/28/2020 - NOT CURRENTLY TAKING VOLUNTEERS. CHECK BACK IN NOVEMBER.
Volunteers meet at 5pm and roll the burritos that will be passes out. At 6pm you hop on bikes provided by The Burrito Project SLC and go pass out the burritos at key locations in SLC.
I love the burrito project! It is such an awesome way to do some really hands on service. You meet great people that volunteer with The Burrito Project SLC, but you also get to interact and meet some great people while handing out the burritos. Such a fun service opportunity! - Rebekah Meads, Salt Lake City, Utah

Volunteering with the Burrito Project is awesome. The head volunteers are great and you get to interact a lot with the homeless, who are always so grateful. Super easy and really enjoyable.
