Girls on the Run Utah is a positive youth development program for 3rd-8th grade girls. Girls on the Run's mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. This after-school program combines training for a 3.1 mile running event alongside self-esteem lessons and uplifting workouts.
During the Sneaker Soiree, you will help serve dinner and clear finished plates/keep waters filled throughout the night. This is such a fun opportunity to get involved with Girls on the Run during our most important night of the year, our Sneaker Soiree! You will receive a t-shirt and dinner by Brio.
After serving at this site I really became fonder of little kids and how truly smart they are in every aspect. Inspiring these young girls made me feel so helpful and like I was making a difference in their lives. Even if I just sat down with one of them that day to talk about what has been going on in their lives, I felt like I was making a difference. - Madison Jaret, Park City, Utah
Girls on the Run serves girls in Salt Lake, Cache, Davis, Weber, Summit, Utah, and Wasatch Counties.

Working with Girls on the Run was such a blast. I volunteered as a Junior coach and had the best time helping out with all of the girls. This is a program that teaches outstanding morals, tips and tricks to girls who are going through one of the hardest times in their lives. This was one of the best experiences truly ever.

Volunteering for Girls on the Run was an amazing experience. I got to volunteer under inspiring women who taught me a lot about Girls on the Run, as well as other life skills. I got to help them prepare and get ready for the running season and got to participate in a program I was a part of as a third grader, but now got to experience the awesomeness in a new way!
