The mission of the Bicycle Collective is to promote cycling as an effective and sustainable form of transportation and as a cornerstone of a cleaner, healthier, and safer society. The Collective provides refurbished bicycles and educational programs to the community, focusing on children and lower income households. UPDATE: 8/28/2020 - CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS
No experience with bikes necessary to volunteer! Our staff will teach you all the things you need to know about bikes so you can assist us in the greater cause. Volunteers can help with various tasks like refurbishing kids bikes for youth programming and refurbishing adult bikes which are then provided to our communities in need. Volunteers can also assist in maintaining the shop's inventory and appearance. Volunteering with the SLC Bicycle Collective is a great way to gain invaluable experience within the community.
