**Accepting Volunteers - subject to prescreening** Common Ground Outdoor Adventures mission is to provide life-enhancing outdoor recreational opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities. We provide adaptive equipment and support, which enable people with disabilities to participate in outdoor recreation alongside their peers. These experiences reduce stereotypes, raise awareness, and empower people to realize their full potential. Our trips are not only accessible physically but also financially.
We need caring and encouraging individuals to help us with every activity. Outdoor experience or experience with working with people with disabilities is not required to volunteer with Common Ground.

All local activities are free for volunteers; there may be some cost on destination trips.

Common Ground is so so fun. There is such a variety of activities to do and you can knock out tons of hours by going regularly. My favorite thing was going skiing on Saturdays with them because it was a lot of fun and I got 9 hours in one day!
