**Not Accepting Volunteers** Assisted living at Brookdale is designed for senior adults who wish to maintain their independent lifestyle but may need some additional assistance to do so. The goal at Brookdale Senior Living is to meet each residents individual needs while maintaining the highest level of choice, dignity, privacy, and respect - all in a homelike atmosphere. Brocade is dedicated to a life engagement philosophy of social, psychological, spiritual, and physical well-being for every individual.
Brookdale welcomes volunteers to visit, read, or walk with residents living in both the memory care and assisted living wings. Groups are welcome to perform and are also needed to serve special dinners, or to assist with outside improvements. Playing games and talking with residents is a very big part of a volunteers responsibility. Volunteers younger than 18 years old must come with an adult supervisor.
I think that my service site was meaningful because I was able to bring joy into the lives of the residents at Emerald Pointe. They didnt get to see very many people, so seeing a new face was good for them. I also was able to get used to seeing people that are different from me. - Julie Montoya, Cedar City, Utah

Soccer/Volleyball Exercise Leader

18 or accompanied by a parent/guardian
Come lead our exercise sessions Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 am. Can lead for both days or choose one or the other. This is a fun opportunity to play some games with the elderly, lots of laughs included. :)

My main service site was Brookdale and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to serve! I loved the mmc and I learned a lot more communication skills by listening to them and playing fun games with them. I will definitely go back to Brookdale just because of how great the people are there
