Minimum Age Requirement: 18
We provide free medical care for those who are 150% of poverty level or below. We are volunteer run and 94 cents of every dollar donated goes to direct patient care.
WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS. WE HAVE SOME PROGRAMS THAT WE HAVE HAD TO PUT ON HOLD DUE TO COVID-19 BUT WE STILL HAVE A FEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES. AS FOR NEW PROCEDURES, WE ARE TAKING EVERYONE'S TEMPERATURE AT THE DOOR AND NOT LETTING ANYONE IN THE CLINIC WHO HAS ANY SYMPTOMS. WE ARE ALSO REQUIRING MASKS FOR EVERYONE.
The duties of a volunteer will depend on their skills.
We have opportunities to assist medical providers, help with resources, Spanish interpreting, patient assistance program, clerical and healthy living education.
I really liked serving at the Maliheh Free Clinic because I felt like I was helping the community because they provide health care to people who wouldn't be able to be treated otherwise. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. We will do our best to match your interests with our needs.
Training will be provided in most areas.
