We are committed to providing quality care at the lowest possible cost. Volunteers add to the home town community feel of American Fork Hospital, and are a great benefit to the staff, patients and guests. Some areas available for volunteering are ER, Same Day Surgery, Gift Shop, Information Desk and Medical Surgical floor. Junior volunteers ages 14-17 can serve in non-clinical areas.
NOT CURRENTLY TAKING VOLUNTEERS. HOWEVER WE ARE ACCEPTING SERVICE IN THE WAY OF DONATIONS, BLANKETS, CHILD ACTIVITY BAGS, ETC.
Our volunteers provide care and comfort for patients and guests through rounding and extraordinary customer service. If you are interested in volunteering in a hospital setting, openings are posted on the website the first Monday of each month.

We ask volunteers for a minimum of a 6 month commitment. Because of the intensive application/on-boarding process, we want volunteers to feel they have made an impact and have made a difference in the community. For volunteering purposes, email is preferred. After applying online, a prospective volunteer will have an interview. If you are selected as a volunteer, you will undergo a screening process which includes immunization verification and other screenings as required. Online education and a group orientation are done before being oriented in your volunteer department. The process can take 3 -4 weeks.
